I can't believe I never thought of this.

I just made a bookmark toolbar that puts shortcuts to Excel, Access, and four frequently used folders on my taskbar. I already foresee another useful application of this technique: a scan profiles toolbar. Lexmark's Scanback utility lets a user pack a group of settings into an easy-to-use shortcut. I'll bet I can add a row of links to the desk PC that our students use to process ILLs, that way the worker has all of the scan setting shortcuts right there on the screen. I'll post a screenshot when I get it made.
